Operations overview dashboard
Navigate to Agency → Analytics to access the overview dashboard. The default view shows:
Port calls per month
Total port calls created, broken down by status (completed, in-port, cancelled). Compare month-over-month trends.
Average turnaround time
Time from vessel arrival (ATA) to departure (ATD), averaged across all completed calls in the period.
Vendor utilization
Number of service orders per vendor, acceptance rate, and average completion time.
SLA breaches
Count of orders where the vendor missed the agreed response or completion window.
Use the date range selector to filter data by week, month, quarter, or a custom range. All charts update in real-time as new data arrives.
Vendor performance analytics
Drill into individual vendor performance from Analytics → Vendor Performance. For each vendor, PortTask calculates:
- Acceptance rate — percentage of service orders accepted vs. rejected or timed out.
- On-time performance — percentage of jobs completed within the scheduled window.
- Average response time — how quickly the vendor acknowledges a new service order.
- Aggregate score — a composite rating combining the above metrics, displayed as a 1-5 star rating.
Turnaround time analysis
The turnaround analysis breaks down vessel time in port by service category. This helps identify which services are taking longer than expected and where coordination delays occur.
Filter by port, vessel type, or time period to compare turnaround performance across different operational contexts.
SLA compliance tracking
PortTask flags service orders that breach their SLA window. The SLA dashboard shows:
- Total breaches per period, with trend line
- Breakdown by vendor and service type
- Average breach duration (how far past the deadline)
- Root cause tags (vendor no-show, scheduling conflict, weather delay, etc.)
Exporting reports
